DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT

WHY

Improving Libyan first response service by reducing response time, increasing coverage of the service and targeting interventions in concerned areas.

WHAT

The first step is the design of a Chatbot that allows to quickly channel the distress calls according to the type of rescue. The user who contacts the rescue service using the Chatbot, could easily select the type of the rescue he/she needs, activate the GPS to facilitate its geolocation and he could also send photos to the operator he is in contact with. This Chatbot is providing in real time important details about the type of emergency to be managed, allows the rescue service to optimize its resources and significantly reduce the time of action. The second step is to develop a full conversational platform and develop a predictive model.

IMPACT

The use of AI will allow the emergency service to have a talking map of the Libyan territory, thanks to which it will also be possible to develop predictive models that enable the emergency service to manage more efficiently and, consequently, optimize the rescue service resources.
